Reporting in

So, for my first day on the job, I was sent on my own to start a cold call case.  The manager was super mean, and didn't want to cooperate at all.  He even questioned my authority.  I looked at his payroll and he wasn't paying minimum wage.  When questioned, he "didn't know what I was talking about."  He refused to talk about restitution to his employees.  What a horrid way to start as an investigator!
